There is an agreement: About three weeks after the talks began, led by Deputy Minister Yaakov Litzman with MK Moshe Gafni, Agudath Israel and Degel Hatorah, they finally reached an agreement on a joint run for the 21st Knesset.
Following the long meetings between Degel Hatorah and Agudath Israel, led by Agudath Israel secretary Chanoch Zeibert and Treasurer of Degel Hatorah Moshe Shifman, the parties reached a final agreement on Monday.
According to the agreement, which is published here for the first time, it refers to two terms. Agudath Israel will hold the 21st Knesset in places 1,3,5,7,9 while the ‘Degel’ in the even numbered places. When the third position in Yehadut Hatirah will receive Degel Hatorah and in the next term the roles will be replaced.
