Two Sephardic families who were traveling from Teterboro Airport on a private jet to Mexico miraculously engaged unscathed after the plane crashed Thursday.
“We’re alive, thank you Hakadosh Baruch Hu, we’re alive, my kids and Isaac Ash’s kids,” Ely Gindi, one of the survivors said while sobbing emotionally in a video taken after the crash. “Thank you Hashem for saving us because it’s absolutely a miracle that we’re alive,” he continued, and pointed the camera at a large piece of the plane that broke off during the impact.
The accident occurred at Cabo San Lucas Airport, when the plane veered off from runway 29 during landing due to a malfunction.
Video taken by one of the passengers shows the wreckage of the crash inside the jet, adding to the wonderous miracle.
Video taken by a passerby shows smoke rising from the crash site.
