A 34-year-old man fell approximately three meters (over 9 feet) on Tuesday afternoon while dismantling a sukkah on Reish Lakish Street, Level 4, in Beit Shemesh. He sustained serious injuries to his limbs.
Rescue teams at the scene provided immediate medical care, including bleeding control, immobilization, and dressings, before transporting him to Shaarei Tzedek Hospital. Upon arrival, his condition was reported as moderate.
Rescue Team volunteer Yehoshua Gottlieb told reporters: “When I arrived at the scene, I was directed to the balcony, where I saw a 34-year-old man suffering from severe limb injuries after falling from a height of about 3 meters while dismantling a sukkah. Together with other MDA paramedics and medics, we provided him with initial medical assistance, including stopping bleeding, immobilization, and dressings, and he was evacuated by an MDA intensive care unit in moderate condition for further treatment in the trauma room at Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Yerushalayim.”
