Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called on Hamas terrorists to release its hostages, saying doing so would remove what he calls Israel’s “excuse” for continuing its war on the terrorists.

“The first priority is to stop the war of extermination (sic) in Gaza…Why don’t you hand over the hostages?”

Abbas sharply criticized the terror group, referring to them as “sons of dogs,” and demanded they “release those you’re holding and put an end to this story. Shut down their [Israel’s] excuses. End it.”

He delivered these comments during his address at the opening session of the PLO Central Council meeting.
