Amazon, the global e-commerce giant, has resumed shipping to Israel after pausing new orders during the recent war with Iran in June, when Israeli airspace was mostly shut down.

A message on Amazon’s Israeli website still reads, “We are experiencing shipping delays in your area,” and adds, “Please expect extended delivery time.” This notice has been displayed on the site for several years.

The suspension occurred during the 12-day conflict with Iran, which began on June 13. At that time, Ben Gurion Airport was mostly shut down to both commercial and cargo air traffic, preventing inbound and outbound deliveries.
