BDE: 4 Yeshiva Bachurim Niftar In Tragic New Jersey Turnpike Crash, Driver Was Going in Wrong Direction

A heartbreaking tragedy occurred early Sunday morning when four yeshiva bachurim were niftar in a massive car crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, hit by a driver going the wrong direction on the highway.
The fatal accident took place at about 1 a.m. on the southbound side of the Turnpike near Exit 1 in Carneys Point, just past the Delaware Memorial Bridge, according to NBC10.
The driver of the struck car, 19-year-old Yaakov Kilberg z”l, from Lakewood, and passengers Aharon Lebovits z”l, Shlomo Cohen z”l, Chaim Grossman z”l were killed in the crash. The passengers were all 18 years old; Aharon and Shlomo were from Lakewood and Chaim was from Fallsburg, NY.
NJ State Police told Belaaz that the driver who crashed into the car carrying the bachurim is Christopher Neff, a 41-year-old male from Westminster, CO, who “was operating a Dodge pickup truck northbound in the southbound lanes of the NJTPK.”

“The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at the moment,” police added.
The bachurim were traveling on a Bein Hazmanim trip.
Neff was taken to the hospital.
Emergency responders rushed to the scene, but four of the young men were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Many askanim, including from Misaskim, ZAKA, Hatzolah and others were on the scene.
