Belaaz Interview: Mark Levin Talks Antisemitism, NY Politics at Chabad Kinnus Hashluchim

Conservative commentator Mark Levin, attending the annual Chabad Kinnus Hashluchim for the first time, called on “red-blooded Americans” of all stripes to unite against ideological threats and urged New Yorkers to “fight” for their city against the scourge of radical Islamism and leftism.

In a brief interview at the event, Levin said he attended at the invitation of his Chabad rabbi, Cohen, calling the gathering a “fabulous event” and “an honor,” and praised the food provided.

When asked about rising antisemitism and the “far right,” Levin broadened the scope of the threat, identifying the dangers as “Marxism, Islamism… [and] Neo-fascists.”

Levine said of Tucker Carlson, who has platformed neo Nazis and Holocaust deniers, that he doesn’t like to have his name “cross his lips” because it’s a “curse word.”

“Jews should fear, but Jews should stand up and speak out. All Americans should,” Levin stated. “Now’s the time for Americans to pull together… When you’re in a foxhole, you’re in a foxhole.”

When asked about Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, Levine was terse. “Well, he sucks,” he said.

On Chabad Shluchim, Levin said: “This event will always take regardless of what’s going on in the United States or anywhere in the world. These are Chabad rabbis; they’re in every corner of the planet, spreading the word of Judaism and freedom and security. They’re praised by Christians too, by people of all faiths. I was just in here; they’re excited, inspired, very motivated, I don’t know what we’d do without them.”

Levin, a Philadelphia native, encouraged New York residents facing a political climate they oppose to take action.

“If you’re not going to leave New York, then fight for New York,” he said. “You can resist without being violent. You can be heard. You can go to meetings… You go to Albany, try and get help from Albany.”

Levin added: “Hopefully, we’ll get Elise Stefanik in there as governor, and she can put an end to a lot of this.”
