An Israeli-American hiker who disappeared in northern India earlier this month has been b’chasdei Hashem located alive, according to Magen, an Israeli organization that took part in the extensive rescue operation.

Samuel Vengrinovich, 44, a resident of Jaffa, was last seen on Friday, June 6, during a solo trek to Triund Ridge, a popular destination in the Himachal Pradesh region.

Magen reported that Vengrinovich was found earlier today following six days of continuous search efforts. The operation involved Israeli rescue personnel working in coordination with Indian and Nepali teams. After being located on the trail, he was evacuated and transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
