A teenager from Chechnya was arrested in Berlin for planning to attack the Israeli embassy there, German outlet Bild reported Friday.

The suspect, 18 years, was detained on Thursday and placed in investigative custody the following day police told the news outlet, but they declined to elaborate on possibe motives.

Bild says the investigation was the result of a tip from an unspecified foreign intelligence agency, and that the suspect was apprehended when trying to leave Germany at Berlin’s BER airport.
