TEHRAN – Jewish community sources in Iran said this afternoon there were no Jewish fatalities or injuries during the protests, denying online reports and saying Jews did not take part in anti-regime protests, according to the Isreali frum site Bechadrei Charedim..

The sources said several community members were detained “by mistake” on suspicion of protest involvement, adding that community leaders hope they will be released soon.

Jewish life in Iran reportedly continued largely as normal, with Shuls open, Tefilos and Shiurim held.
