Eilat Heatwave Claims Life of 70-Year-Old Man

Amid a scorching heatwave in Eilat, a 70-year-old man died of suspected heat stroke on Wednesday evening.
Discovered unconscious on Pe’amei HaShalom Street, he was rushed to Yoseftal Medical Center in critical condition. Despite extensive resuscitation efforts, he was sadly later pronounced dead.
Paramedic Daniel Kotov reported performing advanced life-saving measures, including cooling and medication, after finding the man without a pulse or breathing.
In a related incident, a 60-year-old man with heat stroke symptoms was evacuated to Soroka Hospital from near Hatzeva Junction.
