In a horrific act of terrorism on Monday, an Arab assailant carried out a combined car-ramming, shooting, and stabbing attack, in which he murdered an 85-year-old man and severely injured an 18-year-old soldiers.
The elderly victim, Moshe Horn Hy”d, lost his life, while the unnamed teenager remains in serious condition at Rambam Hospital.
According to Army Radio, the terrorist—identified as 25-year-old Israeli-Arab Karem Jabarin from Ma’ale Iron—first targeted the soldier by ramming into him at a bus stop. After striking the victim with his vehicle, Jabarin exited and proceeded to stab him multiple times. Not yet satisfied with his deadly rampage, he then seized the soldier’s rifle and opened fire on a passing vehicle. While the driver emerged unharmed, his father, Moshe Horn, was fatally shot.
Moshe was a resident of Kibbutz Hazorea.
