FAA Reports Fourth System Outage at Newark Airport Facility, Philadelphia Tower Loses Radio for Seconds

The FAA reported a fourth system outage at the facility managing flights to and from Newark Airport in New Jersey.
The most recent communications failure occurred at the Philadelphia control tower, which manages air traffic, losing radio frequencies for approximately two seconds around 11:35 a.m.
All planes “remained safely separated” at the New Jersey airport during the outage, the New York Post was told by an official.
