A Houthi drone struck Ramon International Airport in Eilat, Israel, lightly injuring a 50-year-old man with shrapnel and causing anxiety to others, Magen David says.

The attack damaged the passenger terminal, halting flights. The IDF reported six drones launched by the Houthis: two fell en route, three were intercepted, and one hit the airport undetected. Videos showed smoke rising from the site.

The strike follows increased Houthi attacks, with over 70 missiles and 23 drones launched since March. Israel is investigating the defense failure and has closed the airport’s airspace.
