U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee announced on Monday that complications surrounding visas for American Evangelical groups have been successfully addressed following discussions with Israeli leadership.
“After meetings with the Minister of the Interior and with the help of [Prime Minister Netanyahu], I’m happy to report that the issue concerning visas for American Evangelical organizations has been fully resolved,” Huckabee wrote on X.
He noted that recent modifications to the long-standing visa protocol had led to significant delays and obstacles for Evangelical groups, but he praised Interior Minister and attorney Calev Myers for playing a key role in reinstating the original procedure.
“I am delighted to report that the issue has been resolved to everyone’s satisfaction,” Huckabee said, adding, “American Christians are some of Israel’s strongest supporters.”
