The Israel Air Force carried out strikes on several trucks transporting weapons, including surface-to-air missile systems, as they were traveling from western Iran toward Tehran in an effort to avoid being targeted, the IDF said Monday.
According to the military, the airstrikes successfully destroyed the missile launchers and other weaponry.
The IDF reported that it has intercepted 80-90% of the ballistic missiles fired by Iran at Israel, with only a small fraction, estimated at 5-10%, managing to strike civilian areas.

The Israeli military emphasized that the air force’s recent operations have significantly impacted Iran’s ability to fire missiles. The destruction of numerous launchers and projectiles has forced Tehran to scale back from launching missiles in the hundreds to firing in much smaller salvos.
Meanwhile, Iranian state-linked media outlet Nournews claimed that the Iranian military recently discovered a stockpile of Israeli-supplied anti-tank guided missiles within its borders.
