In a targeted overnight mission, Israeli forces captured a terror cell in southern Syria that was being directed by Iran’s Quds Force, the IDF announced Monday.
The operation, based on intelligence gathered by the IDF’s 504th Unit, was carried out by troops from the 3rd Brigade under the 210th Division, with support from field investigators. The raid took place in the Tel Kudna area.
This marks the second time in a week that the 210th Division has executed a night operation in the region, detaining multiple operatives considered a threat to Israeli security.
IDF troops from the 210th Division remain stationed in the area, continuing efforts to thwart any attempt by terrorist groups to establish a presence in Syria.
