A ballistic missile fired at Israel from Yemen by the Iran-aligned Houthi terrorists was successfully intercepted by Israeli air defense systems, the IDF said Wednesday.

No injuries or property damage have been reported in connection with the attack.

Air raid sirens were triggered in Yerushalayim and several nearby communities. Approximately four minutes before the sirens, civilians received a mobile push notification warning of the incoming long-range threat, allowing for timely precautions.

Since the IDF resumed its military campaign against Hamas in Gaza on March 18, the Houthis have launched 33 ballistic missiles and over 10 drones toward Israel. One missile came very close to Ben Gurion airport and caused flights to halt for several hours, and also resulted in many airlines suspending flights to and from Israel.
