IDF forces have pulled out of the western sector in southern Lebanon, including Manaqura and surrounding areas, in the largest withdrawal since the ceasefire agreement was signed with the Lebanese government.
This move was authorized by Israel’s security cabinet and is being coordinated with US officials overseeing the ceasefire.
The comes during American envoy Amos Hochstein’s visit to Beirut. Additionally, the Lebanese army is preparing to redeploy near the border.
