In a targeted operation, IDF troops killed Isser Sa’adi, the head of the Hamas terrorist organization in Jenin, on Monday night. The mission was carried out under the direction of the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security agency.

During the operation, Border Police and IDF soldiers from the Menashe Brigade also eliminated two additional terrorists and arrested three wanted individuals.

The troops initially entered a neighborhood in Jenin using Eitan armored vehicles and searched a building where Sa’adi was hiding, based on intelligence provided by the Shin Bet. A firefight ensued, resulting in the elimination of the terrorists and the arrest of the wanted men.

A subsequent search of the area yielded an M-16 rifle, a pistol, and other weapons inside the building.
