After over 24 hours of debate, Israeli ministers approved the 2025 state budget just hours before Shabbos. The budget includes allocations for military funding and improved conditions for soldiers. However, the election threat still remains.
Politically, passing the budget is intended to solidify stability within Netanyahu’s coalition. However, the budget must now pass three Knesset votes, a challenging task.

Currently, Chareidi Knesset members are demanding the passage of a draft law and additional legislation to protect their community’s interests, raising concerns that failure to pass the budget could lead Israel to new elections.
