An Israeli security source confirmed to Belaaz that the Air Force carried out airstrikes in the port city of Hodeidah, Yemen, Monday evening, in an operation targeting Houthi terrorists.

Arab media reports that Israel struck at least nine locations.

According to the source who spoke with Belaaz, the strike is the first wave of a planned series of airstrikes.

The attacks are in response to a ballistic missile launched by Houthi forces that landed near Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday, injuring several individuals and disrupting air traffic for several hours.

Video shows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today at the Air Force command center at the Kirya during the attack on Houthi terrorist regime targets in Yemen.

Just before the Israeli operation began, Yemeni media reported that the United States had also conducted airstrikes near the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.
