Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a stern warning to Yemen’s Houthi rebels following a missile attack from Yemen that triggered sirens across Jerusalem and central Israel on Tuesday. The missile, launched approximately an hour ago, was intercepted by Israel’s Arrow defense system, resulting in no injuries or damage.

In a statement posted on X, Katz declared, “The fate of Yemen will be like that of Tehran. After we struck the head of the snake in Tehran, we will also strike the Houthis in Yemen. Whoever raises a hand against Israel—his hand will be cut off.”

The remarks follow recent Israeli airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear and military infrastructure, signaling a broader policy of forceful retaliation against Iran-backed groups like the Houthis.
