Following the backlash against Elon Musk after his gesture at a Washington D.C. event on inauguration day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is coming to his defense and condemning the comparison to Nazis.
In a post on X today, Prime Minister Netanyahu wrote, “Elon Musk is being falsely smeared. Elon is a great friend of Israel.”
The Prime Minister also shared that Musk visited Israel after the October 7 massacre, in which Hamas terrorists committed the worst atrocity against the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Netanyahu further highlighted that Musk has consistently and forcefully supported Israel’s right to defend itself against genocidal terrorists and regimes that seek to annihilate the Jewish state.
Yesterday Belaaz reported that Rabbi Moshe Margeretten, President of the Tzedek Association, condemned far left Pro Hamas Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (AOC) baseless accusation that Musk made a Nazi salute at a Donald Trump inauguration event on Monday. Rabbi Margeretten stressed that it was absurd to accuse someone who has consistently supported Jewish causes of promoting hate.
In a statement shared with Belaaz, Rabbi Margeretten strongly rejected AOC’s accusation, stating, “It’s absurd to accuse a hand that has repeatedly and generously supported Jewish causes of being extended this time in a gesture of hate.”
