Panda Vegan Products, based in Israel, has issued an immediate recall of its 45g Pistachio Halva Snack after being alerted by a supplier that the pistachio puree used in the product contained unusually high levels of mycotoxins. The affected items include batches 364 and 365, with an expiration date of 08/30/2026, and customers are urged not to consume them.
The company is actively removing the product from store shelves in full coordination with the Ministry of Health, which warns that long-term exposure to elevated mycotoxin levels may pose health risks.
