An anti-Semitic attack occurred over the weekend in Dublin, Ireland, when a Jewish man riding a bus was verbally and physically assaulted by a local resident.
According to footage from the scene, the attacker shouted, “I knew he was a Jew because of his face,” before launching into a tirade, calling him a “genocidal murderer” and then punching him in the face.
Another passenger, a non-Jewish woman, quickly intervened and attempted to protect the victim. A few minutes later, the bus driver contacted police, and the suspect was arrested at the scene.
Rachel Moisella, who documented the incident, posted the video on the X social media platform and wrote: “A Jewish man was attacked in an anti-Semitic hate crime in Dublin, Ireland. He was slapped by a man who said he knew he was Jewish because of his face. In this video, immediately after the attack, the attacker can be heard shouting that he was a ‘murderous Jew.’ At the end of the video, he screams and points at the man, ‘The Jew, the Jew.’”
