Hundreds of mispallelim gathered at Bais Hamedresh Lutzk in Lakewood on Wednesday morning to join a Keren Olam Hatorah “shutfus” (partnership) campaign, raising over $100,000 for kollel yungerleit within the first few minutes of the event’s launch, with the opportunity to sign a shutfus contract with a leading Rosh Yeshiva.

The event, held under the leadership of the shul’s Rav, Harav Zalman Sorotzkin, drew a large crowd to the beis medrash, which is known for its morning kollel where hundreds of people learn in the early hours and throughout the day. Harav Chaim Mordechai Ausband, Rosh Yeshiva of Ateres Shlomo, also attended the event.

The campaign benefits kollelim and yeshivos in Eretz Yisrael through Keren Olam Hatorah. Dozens of participants took the opportunity to sign a shtar shutfus, acquiring a share in the zechus of supporting yungeleit and bochurim for the coming year. As the event continued, the total raised climbed further as additional participants joined. Harav Ausband and Rav Sorotzkin both signed the shtar.
