Leo Terrell, chair of the U.S. Department of Justice Task Force on Combating Antisemitism, visited the Kosel in Yerushalayim on Sunday during his first trip to Israel.

At the Kosel, Terrell offered prayers for peace and for an end to rising antisemitism around the world. Speaking during the visit, he said, “Let’s stop the hatred towards Jewish people.”

Following his visit to the Kosel, Terrell traveled to Aish HaTorah, one of the most prominent kiruv yeshivos in the world, which overlooks the Old City. He met with representatives of the organization and learned about its work in Jewish education, outreach, and strengthening Jewish identity.

The visit highlighted Terrell’s public focus on confronting antisemitism and his engagement with Jewish institutions during his time in Israel.
