Police found morphine in the locker of an Australian nurse who stated that he had killed Jews.
The substance, illegal to possess or use outside of direct patient care in the hospital, was found in the private locker of Ahmed ‘Rashid’ Nadir at Bankstown Hospital in Sydney, as police continue to investigate him and Sarah Abu Lebdeh, who resigned from their positions after going viral on social media for their antisemitic rants, 7NEWS reported.
Nadir, who said he had personally killed Jews, who he referred to as “dogs,” had asked a former colleague to empty his locker, the news outlet said, whereupon the person asked to do so felt uneasy and decided to call the authorities.
NSW Police declined to provide confirmation of the vial being found.
A police spokesperson told Skynews “As this is an active, ongoing investigation, there will be no further comment provided.”
Strike Force Pearl investigators reportedly raided the Nadir’s Bankstown home Friday night; 7NEWS says that police confiscated several bags of evidence.
It isn’t known at this time if searches were carried out at Abu Lebdeh’s property.
Sky News reported that Israeli content creator Max Veifer, who interacted with the pair of antisemites, provided NSW Police with the video of the two nurses threatening Jews.
As public outcry grew over the pair not being charged with hate crimes, police said that they”are aware an extended version has been posted online, however nothing has been directly provided to NSW Police.”
“Discussions between NSW Police and the influencer remain open and ongoing.”
In the video, Veifer spoke with the nurses, dressed in NSW Health uniform while on the clock at the Hospital, after Veifer had matched with them on a “talk to strangers” video app.
Upon hearing that he was from Israel, the pair began speaking about killing Israelis.
Veifer asked: “I have a question, let’s say an Israeli is in Australia and G-d forbid something happens to him and comes to your hospital, would you treat them?”
Abu Lebdeh said: “I won’t treat them. I’ll kill them. “
Nadir said: “You have no idea how many Israeli…dogs came to this hospital and I send them to Jahannam (hell).”
