Workers in Washington, D.C., were spotted this afternoon, Tuesday, assembling the iconic 30+ foot National Menorah just south of the White House, as preparations ramp up for the first night of Chanukkah on December 14, 2025.

The massive structure is being erected in advance of the annual lighting ceremony organized by American Friends of Lubavitch (Chabad), drawing crowds of thousands in person.
This tradition, which began in 1979 under President Jimmy Carter, routinely features high-profile attendees, including the President, Vice President, cabinet members, congressional leaders, and international dignitaries.
