After concluding his visit to Budapest, Hungary, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is flying to Washington this morning for a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump to discuss key issues related to Israel.
“I am heading to the United States at the invitation of President Trump to discuss these important matters – the hostages, completing the victory in Gaza, and of course, the tariffs imposed on Israel. I hope to assist in addressing this issue. That is my intention,” Netanyahu stated before boarding the Knaf Zion plane.
Netanyahu added, “I can tell you that I am the first international leader, the first foreign leader, to meet with President Trump on a topic so crucial to Israel’s economy. There is a long line of leaders wanting to discuss their own economies with him. I believe this reflects the special personal bond and the unique relationship between the United States and Israel, which is especially vital at this time.”
The Prime Minister also expressed his personal support for the families of the hostages, who have once again been subjected to psychological warfare. “We are thinking of their loved ones, and we are working tirelessly in these moments to bring them back. We will not relent. With God’s help, we will succeed.”
