Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed his spokesman, Omer Destori, on Saturday, citing significant internal disagreements within the Prime Minister’s Office and tensions with Netanyahu’s wife, Sara. The decision was made just hours before Netanyahu’s departure to Washington for a White House meeting with President Trump and other senior officials.

According to reports, the dismissal stemmed from a dispute involving the Prime Minister’s wife, Sara Netanyahu, who was reportedly furious after Destori gave an interview suggesting he had prior knowledge of a strike on Iran, information from which she was excluded.

The Prime Minister’s Office issued an official statement denying these claims, asserting that Destori and Netanyahu mutually agreed to end his tenure. Recently, a new spokesman was appointed to the office and will now oversee the Prime Minister’s media operations.
