Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is set to convene senior ministers and advisers on Thursday to deliberate over the consequences of international recognition of a Palestinian state, Hebrew media reported.

The high-level forum is expected to weigh different possible measures in reaction to anticipated Western backing at the UN later this month, with one option being the extension of Israeli sovereignty to parts of Yehudah and Shomron.

According to reports, the meeting will include Defense Minister Yisrael Katz, Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar, Justice Minister Yariv Levin, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
