Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu issued a harsh letter to French President Emmanuel Macron, criticizing him over France’s decision to recognize a Palestinian state, which Netanyahu argued is fueling antisemitism.

“Your call for a Palestinian state pours fuel on this antisemitic fire. It is not diplomacy, it is appeasement. It rewards Hamas terror, hardens Hamas’s refusal to free the hostages, emboldens those who menace French Jews and encourages the Jew-hatred now stalking your streets,” Netanyahu wrote.

According to Sky News, Netanyahu also sent a similar letter to Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, signaling that he is sending such messages to leaders of all countries that have announced their intention to recognize a Palestinian state next month.
