Prime Minister Binyamin visited Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan Friday to assess preparations for receiving hostages soon to be released from Gaza. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the visit was held to review the facility’s readiness ahead of the hostages’ expected return early next week.
During the tour, the PMO said, Netanyahu “praised the medical teams for their readiness to welcome the hostages and their families,” expressing appreciation for their dedication under intense circumstances.
He was joined by several senior officials, including the government’s hostage pointman Gal Hirsch, Netanyahu’s chief of staff Tzachi Braverman, and the premier’s Military Secretary, Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman.
According to the PMO, Netanyahu also met with IDF soldiers recovering from injuries sustained during the war. He told them, “You are heroes. You saved the State of Israel and lifted our spirits. I’m moved by the strength and resilience you show in your personal and national recovery. Seeing you fills me with power and endless appreciation.”
