In a unique gesture, President-elect Donald Trump received the first-ever Presidential Commemorative Inaugural Diet Coke bottle from Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey tonight. This special delivery highlights Trump’s well-known love for Diet Coke, which has been a topic of interest for years.

The commemorative bottle is a one-of-a-kind tribute to Trump’s favorite beverage.

Trump’s affinity for Diet Coke is no secret. He has been spotted drinking it on multiple occasions. The New York Times reported back in 2017 that Trump consumed 12 Diet Coke cans a day.

Donald Trump’s first presidency was marked by unconventional moments, including his notable Diet Coke button. Located on the Resolute Desk, the button summoned a butler to deliver a Diet Coke on a silver platter. Previously used by presidents to call for assistance, Trump reworked it for his Diet Coke needs.

Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff, said he was initially unaware of the button’s purpose, thinking it might launch a nuclear missile. Meadows later recounted his surprise in his book, “The Chief’s Chief”.
