While a large majority of Israelis reject the proposal of a Palestinian state, with many citing a change of heart after the Oct. 7 massacre, a significant amount of those opposed would accept the idea if it meant normalization with Saudi Arabia, according to a poll released Sunday by the Sovereignty Movement, an organization that encourages the settlement of Yehudah and Shomron and other areas.

Of those surveyed, 71% are opposed to a Palestinian state overall; 59% were against the idea before Oct. 7, and 12% changed their mind afterwards.

The two state solution has 29% support, but only 4% changed their position after Oct. 7.

However, only around 53% oppose a two state solution if it is part of a normalization deal with Saudi Arabia, while 39% support it – 8% stated that they did not have an opinion.

A full 80% of those polled support U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiative to voluntarily relocate some Palestinians from Gaza to Egypt and Jordan, while only 10% oppose it. Anothet 10% have no opinion on the matter.

When asked about Israeli sovereignty over Yehudah, Shomron and other areas, 68% agreed to some level of annexation, 22% are opposed entirely, and 10% had no opinion.
