Rabbi Moshe Margeretten, the founder and president of the Tzedek Association, met with leadership staff from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in Washington, D.C. today (Thursday) to discuss the HOPE Act, a bill designed to expand access to IVF treatments.

During the meeting, Rabbi Margerten and the HHS staff also discussed President Trump’s recent executive order and explored how HHS can contribute to advancing the cause.

“It was an extremely successful meeting,” Rabbi Margerten said following the meeting. “The HHS team was very excited and supportive about the issue.”

He added, “They told us this was actually their very first external meeting at the HHS. We hope to have good news to share soon.”
