Israel launched its recent offensive against Iranian nuclear facilities due to a startling and rapid advancement in Iran’s covert weapons program, Channel 12 reported Sunday.

This “disturbing progress,” as it’s been termed by sources who spoke with the news outlet, involved a dramatic leap forward by Iranian scientists operating under extreme secrecy, pushing them closer to developing nuclear weapons than previously believed possible.

Israeli decision-makers became acutely alarmed by the accelerated timeline for Iran to achieve nuclear weapon capability. With Iran already possessing 408 kilograms of 60% enriched uranium and a sprawling industry supporting its nuclear ambitions, the need to disrupt this path and eliminate the key figures driving it became paramount. These senior officials were subsequently neutralized.

The operation, code-named “Operation Narnia,” saw nine nuclear scientists eliminated simultaneously in their homes at the very outset of the Israeli attacks.

This precise, coordinated strike aimed to prevent any warning or protective measures that might have resulted from a gradual approach. A tenth terrorist was eliminated later. Intelligence had maintained a tight grip on these scientists for years, who likely felt secure in their residences, contrasting with previous eliminations that occurred in cars or public spaces.
