REPORT: Netanyahu and Biden Admin Prepared for Iranian Nuke Strike, Trump Wants Diplomacy

Israel was working with the Biden administration to prepare an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, but the Trump administration will pursue a diplomatic approach, the Washington Post reported Tuesday, as Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is in Washington to meet with President Donald Trump and other high-ranking U.S. officials.
Netanyahu will also seek a guarantee from Trump that Hamas will not be part of a post-war Gaza, ths Post reported.
The Post reported that there are currently no talks underway regarding an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, though this was in the planning stages during the Biden administration.
Additionally, the news outlet reports that Trump wants Gaza to be reconstructed in coordination with a regional agreement with the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and that Netanyahu will not oppose him in the matter.
