Rockets launched by terrorists in Gaza on Sunday struck the Ashdod region in southern Israel, lightly injuring one man and causing property damage, according to the IDF.
Of the 10 rockets fired, five were successfully intercepted by air defense systems.
Medical responders reported that a 30-year-old man was wounded by shrapnel when a rocket landed in Ashkelon, and was taken to Barzilai Hospital for medical care.
Additionally, multiple people were treated for shock and anxiety symptoms.
The rockets were fired from the Deir al-Balah area in central Gaza.
One of the rockets caused damage to a road and several parked vehicles.
The launches represents the most significant barrage from Gaza targeting Israel in recent months.
