For the first time since the changes within the party, Degel HaTorah convened its first meeting in preparation for the election set to take place in just over a month. Degel HaTorah chairman Moshe Gafni who are leaving their positions as MKs also took part in the discussion.

The meeting focused on election preparation, the campaign the party may run, and its messaging. Participants also included the party’s new Knesset list members.

United Torah Judaism’s Knesset members recently signed an agreement stating they will not join any government or take any position until legislation exempting Yeshiva Bochrim from IDF conscription is passed.
