As President Trump issues explicit threats of a major strike against Iran, Israel is also preparing for the possibility of such an escalation through a range of military and civilian measures, Belaaz has learned.
A senior official with access to cabinet-level discussions told Balaaz that the month of May has been marked as a potential timeframe for a strike on Iran.

Meanwhile in Israel, several exercises were held in recent days regarding the possibility that in the case of an attack on Iran, Tehran would respond against Israel.
The drills held yesterday and today focused on scenarios involving intense cyberattacks, including breaches of government databases and hacks targeting Israel’s traffic light infrastructure and more.
Balaaz has learned that yesterday, the IDF Home Front Command conducted a significant exercise simulating missile attacks on civilian areas—part of its responsibility to protect the population during wartime.
Today, the National Emergency Authority held another major drill, this time coordinating with government ministries to prepare for a large-scale cyberattack on critical national infrastructure, a source shared with Belaaz.
