Renowned singer and chazan Shulem Lemmer will perform at President Trump’s White House Chanukah Reception this evening, a White House source scooped Belaaz.

Lemmer, a Belzer chosid, is poised to become the first Chasidisher singer ever to perform at the White House.

As first reported by Belaaz, due to severely limited space from ongoing construction on the new White House ballroom, two separate Chanukah receptions are being held today—one at 4:00 PM and the main event at approximately 7:00 PM.

President Trump’s official public schedule lists his participation in the main Chanukah reception at 8:15 PM, where he will deliver remarks. However, Belaaz is being told that the President is also expected to briefly stop by the earlier 4:00 PM reception, despite it not appearing on the public schedule.

Belaaz is aware of a number of Askonim and Jewish leaders, including at least one Trump Ambassador nominee, who were not invited this year due to the extremely limited VIP guest list.
