A major security incident erupted Sunday east of Chomesh in the Shomron, where a violent mob of Palestinian terrorists targeted a local shepherd.

According to reports, four terrorists assaulted the shepherd and simultaneously tried to grab the personal weapon of the owner of the “Shuva Yisrael” farm, which operates in the area.

The farm owner spotted what was happening, fired warning shots into the air to repel the attackers, and immediately notified security forces.

IDF units rushed to the scene, quickly securing the area and restoring order. No injuries were reported.

Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, denounced the attack, telling Arutz 7: “Our answer to terror is to deepen our roots in Homesh and northern Samaria. Anyone who believes that terror, violence, or gunfire will deter us from walking freely in our land is gravely mistaken.”

He continued, “The clearest and most decisive response to terrorism is a significant strengthening of our presence and a firm establishment of our hold on Homesh and northern Samaria. We demand that the security establishment restore deterrence and act with an iron fist against the attackers.”
