Some people question if they should vote because, “What does my one vote do in the big picture?”. Other people don’t want to vote because they don’t know who to vote for.
When it comes to voting, just like so many other aspects in our lives, there is only so much we can control. What we can control is doing our part. Going out and voting is doing your part to make a difference.
People ask how you can bring kids into this crazy world. Another way to look at things is by thinking that our kids can be the beginning of changing a lot of aspects of this world to make it a better place. We want to lead by example and do the things we can control to make a difference like going out and voting.
When it comes to who to vote for, you can have your own opinions. If you are questioning the right decision, it is always be beneficial to follow Daas Torah! Listen to what they’re saying regarding voting and know that you are following the guidance of those whos opinions you trust and value.
It’s easy to get caught up on what will be after the elections, or what if the other person wins instead of who you voted for. Remember that at the end of the day it’s all in Hashems hands! Whatever is meant to be, will happen and everything that happens is for the best. Remember to just do your part and do your Hishtadlus.
