In Bnei Brak, 48-year-old Rabbi Aharon Tovim Z”L, an air conditioning technician, passed away on Erev Shabbos after falling from a ladder on Rabbi Perdo Street in the Ohr HaChaim neighborhood. Rescue teams initially succeeded in resuscitating him, and he was rushed to Belinson Hospital in Petach Tikva, but sadly he succumbed to his wounds in the early morning hours.

Police initially requested an autopsy, but following intervention by ZAKA Tel Aviv’s Director, Zvi Chassid, and assistance from local authorities, the body was released for burial and transported by ambulance to the cemetery.

Rabbi Tovim was the son of Rabbi Yefet Tovim Shlita, a kashrus supervisor in Ramat HaSharon. He is survived by his wife and five children.
