US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Israel would not suffer any consequences for its actions following the Iran ceasefire, asserting that it “didn’t do anything.”

While traveling to the Netherlands aboard Air Force One, Trump told reporters that Israel had planned to strike Iran, but refrained after he issued a warning on Truth Social.

Although Israel did target an Iranian radar site, reports indicate that it held back from a broader operation following a phone conversation between Trump and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

Trump added that he believed both sides were now reluctant to reignite the conflict. “They’re both tired of it. I don’t think they want it to happen again,” he said.

He reiterated his stance that Iran will not obtain a nuclear weapon, though he avoided answering directly when asked whether Tehran had promised to halt uranium enrichment.

“They’re not going to have enrichment, and they’re not going to have a nuclear weapon. They’re going to get on to being the great trading nation. They have a lot of oil,” Trump said.

When asked about concerns regarding potential Iranian sleeper cells operating in the US, Trump placed blame on former President Joe Biden for allegedly allowing them in—though he gave no evidence to support the claim.

“But hopefully, we’ll take care of them,” he added.
