US President Donald Trump threw his support behind Attorney General Pam Bondi Saturday night as she faces backlash from within the MAGA movement over the Justice Department’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

In a nearly 400-word message posted on Truth Social, Trump dismissed the renewed focus on Epstein, writing that “nobody cares about” the disgraced financier and warning supporters not to waste energy on the issue. “What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening,” he said.

The controversy follows a joint memo released Monday by the FBI and Justice Department stating that there is no evidence supporting long-standing conspiracy theories surrounding Epstein’s 2019 death in federal custody or the identity of his alleged clients.

Conservative personalities including Laura Loomer and Elon Musk have publicly criticized Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel, accusing them of failing to deliver on promises. Bondi had previously vowed to release “a lot of names” and “a lot of flight logs.”

Meanwhile, internal tensions appear to be growing. According to reports by Fox News and NBC News, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has been at odds with Bondi over the investigation and is considering stepping down.
