Trump Sends Condolences on Passing of Rabbi Moshe Hauer z”l

President Donald Trump expressed his condolences to the Orthodox Union following the sudden petirah of Rabbi Moshe Hauer z”l, the organization’s executive vice president and former Rav of a Baltimore shul.

In a letter, Trump wrote, “The First Lady and I send our deepest condolences to the Orthodox Union on the passing of Rabbi Moshe Hauer.” He highlighted Rabbi Hauer’s lifelong dedication, noting, “Rabbi Hauer was a man of deep faith, wisdom, and compassion whose life reflected an unwavering devotion to the Almighty, to his family, and to the Jewish community.”
Trump praised Rabbi Hauer’s role as a mentor and advocate, writing, “As a teacher, counselor, and friend, he dedicated his life to helping others and stood as a fierce advocate for the Jewish people. His influence endures through the countless lives he uplifted and the communities he helped strengthen.”
Concluding his message, Trump affirmed his solidarity with the Orthodox Union, saying, “We join the Orthodox Union community in mourning Rabbi Hauer and celebrating his remarkable legacy. May the Almighty bless him and may his memory be a blessing to the countless lives he inspired.”
